Great Ape of the Rising Sun

I've always wanted to do a samurai skull tattoo design. However, I wanted it to be more personal to me...as well as for me to get it tattooed ya see? Apes and monkeys have always been a long standing theme to me and my friends so instead of a human skull I did a gorilla skull wearing a battle damaged samurai head-dress. Also the lotus flower is my favorite so... yea.
